engadget.com— The iSight indicator -- the green LED that lets you know when your integrated camera is activated -- has now been integrated directly into the bezel.

hm some people's comments on the actual article suggest that the bezel is made of aluminum. However, it is not. It is plastic. The outer shell is aluminum. It is not hard to make an LED shine through plastic. just cover the hole and you're done, given that the plastic might be a tad thinner in that specific spot. my core 2 duo macbook pro is coming this week.
"I'll use my Mac, you can use your windows PC, it doesn't affect ME, what YOU use."The problem, for me, is that it DOES affect me when other people pick Windows. People who aren't computer savvy simply can't get Windows secured well enough so that it doesn't affect the rest of us. I'm not talking about people who are here on digg. I'm talking about my mom, your grandma and that random lady down the street who knows you "work with computers somewhere". Then they want ME to clean up the viruses, the spyware and explain to them why their new computer is so slow. It affects all of us when companies make crappy products and them push them the way Microsoft has. Until that changes, I'll stay on my soapbox and continue to use (and recommend to others) what works best based on my own experiences.
I am so sick of tired of every Apple story being filled with comments about "why do we need all these Apple stories". Just go to your profile settings and uncheck Apple. It's that simple. Just as simple as ignoring everyone with lame comments.
No it's not plastic. It's aluminum. They drilled (probably with a laser) tiny little holes in the aluminum bezel. The MacBook's are made of plastic. The Pro models are aluminum. You can see the holes if you look really closely with a magnifying glass. They are REALLY small.
