I don't quite understand the point of the plug-in. You can set up Apple's Mail to work with a Gmail account - instructions are in Gmail help (easy...). Use iPhoto to compose the email in Mail, and select Gmail in the account pop-up in the new message. Sends the pic from the Gmail account, no plug required.
