pcworld.com — Another day, another iPhone rumor--so is this one for real? The current buzz around the blogosphere is that Apple is preparing to offer its iPhone over Verizon's network, therein ending its thus-far-exclusive arrangement with AT&T. Before you immediately believe the hype, allow me to provide a few reasons to think twice.

I agree with others who say it will be at T-Mobile before hitting VZW, since T-Mobile Europe already has the iPhone and they share the same technology, for the iPhone 3G to work on T-Mobile, they just need to change the 3G frequency in the current phone. If it does indeed come to VZW, it will most likely be in the 4G model, since everyone except Sprint is headed toward LTECoverage is different for everyone, since not every carrier actually cover 100% of the United States. Those of you who suddenly started "roaming" is probably due to the different cellular companies changed their roaming agreements literally every month

It had better be false, I have a bet with my iPhone-wanting-Verizon-subscribing boss...,I don't wanna buy the office lunch.

Is the i-phone a Chinese knockoff of the iPhone? That might be your problem.
