What about countries that don't have iTunes? Can we just buy it without the contract, directly from the Apple store? Then use iActivator or whatever and then unlock it?
Seriously its not even a comparisson like BMW and Volkswagen btw. Volkswagen is also overpriced, Japanese, Koreans, and Ford offer much b etter deals, at least here in Germany.Anyway back to Apple. Its not a comparrison like that, there just isn't a great operating system out there like the Mac OS. If you feel there is fine, thats your choice but for me and many others, for the moment the Mac OS is the holly grale and nothing comes close to it.And when I want to use any other operating system I just install it on my Mac, Macs are the only hardware out there that run all 3 major OSs and expect Solaris mgiht also run on it.And this makes a Mac Computer worth the money. But you are right they are overpriced with some products.i.E. the iPods to some extent but even with them I don't know any other MP3 player that integrates that well with its softwarea nd has such a great user experience so the iPOds are woth the money for me.Lets then tallk to something where Apple is really overpriced at the moment, and that is iPhone ringtones, they shouldn't charge anything for that. You know other cell phones play MP3s as ringtones for free. Also the 50$ proprietary cable to watch video form your iPod on your TVAnd last the iPhone itself, is realy overpriced, not the phone itself, but the contracts that you have to get with them in the UK and US.Its rediculous, the contracts are actually fine if you use all tthese featues, unlimited bandwidth, those hundred of minutes but if you just want to make some calls sometimes, and otherwise use Wifi, these contracts are not what I want and much too expensive.

How do you know that Apple intends to launch it in Finland anytime soon? It's a rather small market and Nokia's home turf with their unreal market share and user devotion. Plus the laws you mentioned. I would assume it's not one of their top priorities.Oh, how I wish I were wrong.
Apple launches all of their products in all European countries. Also the iPhone is already listed in some finnish web stores. Also Finland is a rich country with a lot of potential buyers.
