Mass delete contacts on new iPhone (as of 07012009) -I never used outlook in any carnation nor windows address book, nor any other, i relied on my gmail. I accidently synched my gmail account with iphone contacts list and got all the junk gmail saves. I synced my Phone to a Windows Address Book (WAB) and it improted all the crap from gmail.Then i opened the WAB via start>acceroies>address book and there they all were. I selected all that I wanted to delete by going down the list and selecting them while holding crtl key and pressed delete. I further edited the names indicating if it were a phone # or email address in the name so when i look at my contacts, i can tell if it is a phone or email.After editing my WAB, i synced again, without advanced>contacts selected and it over wrote contacts in iPhone with my edits.Good luck!
