@uknowwhoibe:I have no problem with hacking consumer devices when a functionality that I desire is not in the device, however those needs usually lie in concerns considerable more esoteric than the pedestrian "copy & paste" which has become nearly ubiquitous in computing, or MMS which is a standard for nearly every phone made in the past 3 years. In addition, the accelerometer feature which Apple touts as a shining strength for the iPhone doesn't even function properly when attempting a landscape shift for SMS.When you alter the firmware of a device in any way to allow unsigned code to run on a device, it is a hack, just like hacking a psp or an xbox or a wii via software means. The thing is, when you flash the firmware on those, it expands the device beyond what you could reasonable expect a device to do, which the iPhone fails at, miserably.
Yes, there are some apps for voice dialing. However, they all require you to "touch the phone." I have a bluetooth headset for a reason. When I am driving, I should NEVER have to turn my attention to the phone to look for some app to launch, and some button to push.I want to put the bluetooth piece in my ear, touch the button on the headset, and be asked what number to dial. Every "other" smartphone can do this, and just about every $50.00 phone does this.I love the iPhone, and for my purposes, this is the biggest feature that I knowingly had to give up, when choosing the iPhone. Was it worth it? Sorta, after having had several phones that all have had s**tty syncing with my Macs, I was willing to sacrifice this feature to finally have perfect syncing with my Address Book, and my phone. But come on, after a second hardware revision, and approaching the two year mark, the fact that this feature still isn't implemented is sad.
Video camera on that rubbish camera...what's the point? Apple will never bother.Clearly the iPhone isn't aimed at the camera enthusiasts! I think it would have been better if apple didn't include one at all and just concentrated on making everything else better.
the reason they likely won't adopt it is how big they are on minimalism and simplicity. while having no slide out keyboard simplifies a device, it also *highly*, in my opinion and i'd trust that of many others, detracts from the device as a business tool
@geauxtig3rsI understand that most devices have c/p; nevertheless, I have not really ever had a need for it on my phone. Maybe some people do, but I use mine all day, every day and never have needed it. I have wanted it, though.MMS? I don't care for MMS. My personal view (read: not the truth, just my opinion, /s, etc.) is that MMS is for younger people, which is fine, but not something that I need.Landscape - It would be nice, but again, I'm used to it in portrait (is that right?).The iPhone, once opened up and unleashed of its real potential, is an amazing device. Stop looking for every tiny, little reason to not get one. There isn't one device out there that will make EVERYONE happy.
Do you guys foresee an complete the upgrade absolutely to the iPod slowly touch , or at too a high rate of least too a quietly change in capacity/pricing in the limited future? I'm manner interested in getting all alone, but then its been too a while since last but then one complete the upgrade and might quick wait if too a quietly change seems likely. What do without you think?

Actually in at least Portugal Vodafone has an app on the appStore to send MMS. No need to jailbreak.
