Verizon runs their network like a dictator controlled communist country. And since they must have absolute total control over the phone, they'll never have anything like the iPhone or G1.
affordable in the sense that it isn't one of those high tech $3000 blackberry phones used by fortune 500 CEOs and President Obama. I'm sure those are better than the iPhone.
You're EXACTLY what my post above was all about. You're telling me you've never wanted to look something up from an email on wikipedia, or look up an address that wasn't in a known format? NEVER? I do this kind of thing *all the time* on my phone. Copy a phrase and paste it into another email as a quote. Sure, maybe I'm not "thinking different" but I am "getting stuff done faster".

GPS has worked for me when I've lost signal. Nothing shows up on the map and it takes a little longer, but the little blue dot appears.
