My iPhone can get hot, only because my auto lock is disabled and I forget to turn off the screen. I can imagine it happening to other people and then the complaints start.
I have been using an iPhone 3GS 32GB (white) ever since it was launched and have been pushing it to its limits. It gets hot sometimes but not to the tune of it turning pink or darker color. On the other hand, this reporter is hotter than the heat generated by my iPhone 3GS!
... and a software update for the rest, including the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G.proclamations of a product recall are for FUD ruckers, such as shills working for RIM, Palm and Micro$loth. In my experience, the 3GS actually has fewer problems than the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G.

No... my 3GS gets pretty warm. About twice or three times as much as my 3G did. I'm going to get a replacement.

Pro tip:If you have to resort to using the same picture as everyone else to illustrate your story, maybe you don't actually have a news story.
