reuters.com — Apple Inc sold more than 1 million units of its newest iPhone, the 3GS, in the first three days of launch, the company said on Monday. I have a Blackberry Curve 8300 thru AT&T but my contract isn't up till Feb. 2010. If I had no contract, my choice would be between the iPhone 3GS and waiting for a new Android phone thru T-Mobile. I don't feel like paying the extra money to get the iPhone right now.If I used my BB for work-related purposes I'd prefer it over an iPhone, but the latter seems to serve my usage purposes better.

LOL well you guys have not used multi-tasking on the pre using WebOS. It is impossible to leave an app running that you do not want running. It is very obvious and can be closed with a flip of a finger. Also multitasking is def useful. For instance I am trying to type an address into the free turn by turn navigation that Sprint offers with its data plans (With AT&T it costs at least $10 extra per month) I forget it and I have the web open right next to it. You can not copy and paste cause its a crappy website so its an image and not text so you can't highlight and put in the field. So i just go back and forth between the two apps to type it in. I also had pandora running the whole time while I was doing this. I also paused the arcade game i was playing to accomplish this task without losing my place. I mean who does one thing at a time on a Laptop? It is the same concept. If you are using a laptop would you want to have to close a program and open another even if it saved your information. Of course not that would be super annoying. Same thing applies here. Please go use the Pre before you judge it. I have used the iPhone and it is a great phone but multi-tasking really is the next step and I guarantee that Apple will be applying this in their next update if they do not want to be left behind.

"I dugg you because we are getting burried for not agreeing with the majority even though we gave valid points. (which is expected for Digg). You just can't add regular specs and expect me to be impressed. They got me to buy the iPhone 3g. To me it was a new phone, but I soon realized that the specs where a downgrade from my HTC I had before it. Now I've upgraded to the N97. I don't miss the cool UI on the iPhone because it's just that, a cool UI."You guys where too busy burying anyone that said anything against the iPhone to notice. I didn't think it was relevant in my own comment to say what phone I had because I know how annoyed I get when I read comments and someone says "iPhone" for no effing reason. It's not like my opinions on nothing. I have an iPhone. Anyway, after tomorrow it will be someone else's toy. It sold for $375! Wa-hoo

Expensive in the long term considering your real needs, and yes, I do have an iphone, but I also do know I could live without it.
