gizmodo.com — iPhoneSIMFree, the company that released the first GUI iPhone SIM unlock, has just provided an updated version of their SimFree unlocker for iPhone 1.1.1 phones. Anyone who previously unlocked their iPhones with iPhoneSIMFree can now upgraded to 1.1.1 and enjoy an unlocked phone complete with all of 1.1.1's functionality.

It was two specific unlocks that were pretty unanimously bricked, so perhaps it was the unlock software.

There was a warning in iTunes that popped up before the update was applied. If people ignored that, they're morons.

The updated version of SimFree of unlocker for iPhone 1.1.1 is just good for those who actually feel to update their phones version.
