macenstein.com— MacWorld Goof up 2007. This time Amazon is the one to steal Apple's thunder, pre-announcing new versions of both iLife and iWork a week before the MacWorld Keynote.

How is this really killing any thunder? It's a given iLife and iWork 07 would come along w/ Leopard. If not, then Apple would be slipping. It's a nice bundle, but macworld is really about wtf is up with apple's web page... they've got a lot of balls posting that, they had better have product to back it up.
Figures - I just bought a MacBook about a week ago, so I guess I'll be peeling another stack of bills off my wallet to upgrade to iLife. I expected it to happen, just not this soon.
From the post-EDIT: Amazon has changed the listings, thus confirming they were not supposed to post the iLife/iWork ?07 DVDs yet. The names have now been changed to ?Apple MacWorld 2007 Announcement #1 [Mac] ? and ?Apple MacWorld 2007 Announcement #3 [Mac] ? respectively. (odds are the family pack versions of each make up announcements 2 and 4). It is interesting to note that while Amazon changed the name, they still left in the limited info, such as that these ?MacWorld Announcements? will ship on DVD-ROM. It is also interesting to note, that apparently Amazon has a copy of the order of the MacWorld Keynote Announcements.

its almost like the numbers in the product names are clues...some kind of secret that could be unraveled with a magic decoder ring from a cereal box

Apparently Amazon knew nothing and was just speculating.
