Yeah, I haven't tried Kramixer myself. I just saw it in the latest PC Magazine myself. I now don't recommend it. I did try djay a couple months ago on my MacBook and it was pretty neat. The one key feature it lacked though was auto advance to the next track.

I find that they always start a bit off of eachother andi havent found a way to fix it. But this program is still in the works so im sure it will be fixed sooner or later.

You should have spent that $400 on backup software/hardware.

Anybody else have a problem with scratching? I tried it on a computer at school, and that "turntable" wouldn't play sounds until I restarted the app.

am I the only one getting errors when trying to load tracks?I've tried a number of file formats too...

i dont see virtual dj.. working with iTunes on windoze. I've used similiar virtual turntables like this but you had to re-add all ur music into the app's library. this is more of just install and go. Very good app, very simple basic but fun mixing tool.

ugh...i almost want to give you negative digs just for the crappy panic at the disco jokeplus everytime i hear that piece of crap band name i cringe

If I had to guess, I would imagine that you simply moved the library from it's original location on accident.Relative structure can be very ftl at times.

woot, popular app. Already got 21 iuses in the two days since it was registered on iusethis.com

Amazing, as soon as I tried to insert a few songs into the program, I all of a sudden have a bunch of songs completely deleted from iTunes and my entire computer for that matter. Thanks a f**king lot, djay.

@alpharuin. how was it possible to connect a logitech headset for track cueing, without e.g. iMic?

This has potential but the mixer sux ass real bad. The cross fader drops far too much in volume when in the middle for it to be really usable.

Non-related to this particular software, a different type of DJ Software to look into is called DJ Intelligence, found at http://www.DJIntelligence.com (ask about the Free Month Trial running throughout August)

Interesting to read the comments here. I've been writing about digital DJing for over 10 years, and what impressed me about this program are its ease of use (integrates seamlessly with iTunes), its cost ($59.99 includes a backup CD) and its features.BTW, those of you who are dissing the program have only been sampling the free preview. Once you download the actual app you'll have unlimited ability to cue, adjust the pitch, etc.

zeixpunkt: Trying the transition features or resetting the transition times. Either way solves the problem you're having with the volume dropping during a mix.
