IMHO del.icio.us would have to be the most irritating domain out.

The social network model is by no means set in stone, there is still much room for inovation. Hopefully del.icio.us con provide new and innovative ways for people to connect and collaborate. Personally, I'm not holding my breath.

This is how sites progress, you start out small and focused, and then introduce new features. What's the example from alistapart about adding rooms to a small house?? I guess you missed it.

They can really hit it big if they partner with one of those multi-media softphone companies that has IM, voice, video, file sharing, desktop sharing, etc. Check out www.damaka.com

I think it's good to expand features... to test and tune, because you never know, it could be something people like. Why not give it a shot and see what happens?
