instructables.com— Sabianq used the 5.25 inch drive bay to house 4 hard drives expanding the capacity of a computer to 1200 gigabytes.

Using the article "a" is misleading - you should have said expanding the capacity of THE computer to 1200GB. It's a cool mod but only if you've got a similar 4u chassis as he does. If you have a desktop, you can do it but it isn't quite as useful or ingenious :)
speaking of RAID, does anybody know where I can get a relatively cheap (< $300) controller that supports PATA and RAID 3? (I'll take RAID 4 or 5 even, if it's cheaper)
Finally, I was wondering if anyone else was going to point that out. I mean, who would call it 1200 meg? It would be 1.2 gig. Just like this is 1.2 Tera
expanding the capacity of a computer to 1200 gigabytes.(one of many)expanding the capacity of the computer to 1200 gigabytes.(one)This is a DIY thing, so the assumption is more than 1, so A is more goodlier

Or you can just buy 5.25in to hard drive trays.Cool mod nonetheless if you're a DIYer.

Sweet mod, but why do we need an extra 1200Gb? Especially with how the RIAA and MPAA want to stop LAN fun, I mean piracy.

Wow. That is incredible, you drilled holes for the screws then screwed hard drives into them.I would have done it backwards, thank you!!!
