allofmp3.com — When trying to order from allofmp3.com instead of a short 'not available message' customers are given the following;"The site is undergoing some technical restructuring. We work hard to resume the service. We expect to put back all the functions shortly. Please, accept our appologies for this ongoing disruption."

Does anyone think the restructuring they are doing will lead to some kind of back-end tracking type of infrastructure. For instance, now when I purchase a disk from them, my information will be sent directly to the RIAA? I know this sounds far-fetched, but with the reported crack-down the Russian government is doing, doesn't this seem like a logical step to 'make amends'?

I doubt the RIAA could pull that off with the company being situated in Russia. That said, it will be a sad day when allofmp3.com goes. Definitely an excellent service they provide, whatever else may be said of them.

if youre suggesting that allofmp3 buyers might get sued then the chances of that happening are worse than winning the lottery. which, conicidentally, are about the chances of a pirate getting sued.
