"My new Hypothesis: If we're built from Spirals while living in a giant Spiral, then is it possible that everything we put our hands to is infused with the Spiral?"Maximillian Cohen
You should look at http://www.lhup.edu/~dsimanek/pseudo/fibonacc.htm to understand why most of the big deal that is made about Fibonacci numbers amounts to nothing. Sure, mathematically, they are interesting and have many beautiful and fascinating properties (not to mention cropping up in unexpected places now and then), but the kind of mumbo-jumbo that Dan Brown and his ilk say about the Fibonacci numbers is just absurd.
