I once played a hacked Super Mario World rom in which the first level was loosely based on the first level in Super Mario Land. I would really like to see a Super Mario Land clone for Super Mario World.

For those of you pining for the SMW days of old check out the SMW hack FuSoYa made w/ LunarMagic 'Super Demo World: The Legend Continues', some say better than the original! (Probably not, but it's still an amazing hack).
