Rick Berman - by far the worst thing that ever happened to Star Trek.

Maybe a new movie with a blended cast from the TNG/DS9/Voy time. My vote for captain is Worf.

Judging from the amount of negative diggs to your comment, it would seem that some disagree.I wouldn't mind another prequel, but it needs to be something between "Enterprise" and the original series. If they do it right, I think it could be great. I'd like to see something that shows the origins of the original series' characters (Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura, Scotty, ALL of them). They could get away with using different actors, since the characters would be much younger "Enterprise" was a good concept for a prequel, but it was poorly executed.

@Saved:"Sci-Fi can be done right. Look at the Sci-Fi channel's success with Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, and Battlestar Gallactica. There are actually really good shows. No, these aren't movies, but it proves that there should be a way to get it right on the big screen too."I agree with you on all but one, namely SG1. SG: Atlantis and BSG are awesome. I can't wait for the new seasons to begin. OTOH, SG1 has gone to great heights of suckage. I miss RDA and the new crew members just wear me out.. It is a kids show now. No advancement of the original crews mission. Although I do find the new nemesis, the Ori, to be interesting. Interesting, but not enough to bring me back to SG1 or make me buy past Season 7 DVD's.

The problem as Brent has said, is that he Data is an ageless character played by a person who ages, and no amount of grey streaks will change that. Then again maybe they could do some kind of body swap, ala Dr. Who ;)

Well i like Star trek but dont consider myself a treckie or whatever super fan. I initially liked the last show that was on, but it got boring, all this time travel. They should just Venture on into the future to make new stuff, i get annoyed when they do a new series or a movie inbetween timelines, They inevitably win the battle but u know they have not won the war because its preceding another event or some s**t. Make SOMETHING NEW and dont use captain TNG people, they are old already, u have hot people like 7 of nine, GOD....

"BSG is like watching one long movie anyways."Very much so. It's that great, epic sci-fi with a long reaching story arc in the vein of Babylon5.

Nemesis was good in certain aspects. I think it really showed the Picard - Data relationship well. Other parts of the movie seemed like they popped them in the microwave for 30 secs and went with what came out.
