weblogs.jupiterresearch.com — Q: So how far are you behind Google? GATES: We?ll look back on this time and realize that search is pathetic. If I ask for something, I should get it, not a list of things to click on... It?s great for where it is, but it will get so much better. There?s no way to qualify results... by trusted sources. Sources I trust, that is.

@wolver1neMillions? Try billions. I believe his charity (The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) was endowed with 26 billion dollars out of his own pocket. He's also donated around 3 billion to other charities.

It does make sense if he doesn't know how to search.

you mean pathetic because its not bundled with windows right?

Google bombing isn't tricking the Google search engine. If you can convince enough people with high page ranks that Bill Gates is pathetic then you have created a common perception amongst prominent Internet users which is a sort of truth in itself. If they didn't agree they wouldn't participate.

"It's great for where it is, but it will get so much better. Right now, there's no way to qualify results by authority, by trusted sources. Sources I trust, that is"so now he is going to push treacherous (trusted) computing with search. gee bill who are you to say who I trust. should I trust only the people that buy your product? I have feeling that is where you are headed. just going to try to lock in searching on the Internet now are we - just like you tried with Internet explorer - and now we have to undo that mess with all the sites that don't work with open standards browsers and only work with your crap browser that hasn't been updated in six years. by the way how has active x been doing? what does certs think about it? do they recommend using it? who cares what billy has to say about technology - he has never had a original thought - his OS is nothing but a copy of work done before - and a bad one at that.
