Well, I have no idea why they ditched that huge sidebar, because in Texas, everything needs to be bigger. (and have less gas mileage) OH ! Another reference brought to you by the idea of the Longhorn.
I see a lot of people complaining about the appearance of longhorn. I agree i think it looks like crap too and if they think that is going to be any type of competition for osx tiger or whatever apple will have out in 2006 they're in for a shock. But lets be realistic here. Microsoft isn't stupid. I don't know how many of you guys on here actually remember Windows XP Beta codename: whister(<a class="user" href="http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/whistler_beta1.asp),">http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/whistler_beta1.asp),</a> but it looked a lot like windows 2000 until it hit beta 2. Now I don't know about you guys but i think GUI is a finishing touch on an OS. So why would MS concentrate on looks now when its not coming out for another year(if we're lucky)? i hope for MS' sake that I'm right..
