skooma,Burnout 2 WAS developed by Criterion, published by Acclaim. Burnout 3 (Takedown) was the first EA published game and partway through dev EA acquired Criterion. Even Burnout 4 (Revenge) was developed by Criterion. Let's be real though, EA bought Criterion not for Burnout, but for Renderware - EA wanted its own mature middleware platform. Every other Renderware user dropeed it like a hot potato - prolly why there wasn't a another GTA this last Christmas.

the only reason this is front page material is because people just hate EA.

Criterion did a great job on this game. EA can go to hell - I won't be buying Madden ever again.
