The real line between the services is the subscription service. Genius mines data from a user's library, Zune's Channels pulls from 3-4 million songs, and allows Zune Pass users to subscribe to all sorts of channels to genre specific to channels based on play data, ratings, artist preferences, which will update and evolve. Genius will too, it's not nearly as seamless in the actual discovery department. Zune wins in this regard.
