macsimumnews.com — Microsoft is delaying the video capabilities of its its Zune player, and it's not even released yet. Are there parallels here with Vista? Why don't they take a leaf out of Apple's book, and leak nothing until the product is ready to ship?

That feature is not being shed it was never ment to be in there! Don't people read the news reports on it. There are three versions; an MP3 Player this fall, a video/MP3 Player maybe in the spring (no confirmed date yet), and then a Video/MP3/Game Player next fall (no confirmed date yet). This was always ment to be just a music player.

Is it that hard to look up your "facts" before you invent them? Hotmail was the first web-based email service, and yes, that does mean it came out before Yahoo! Mail.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HotmailI didn't have to look this up to know it, it only happened in 1996, it shouldn't be too hard to remember something that recent. God help you if you ever have to remember actual HISTORY.

I'm suprised I haven't seen zuneinsider.com before. I have to say, though, it looks pretty suspect. Either it's a hoax from someone who has nothing to do with the project, or it's a "viral" fake site from the marketing team at Microsoft. The site is too devoid of any details or information that couldn't be found elsewhere on the web. What is the point of even making a site like this, unless it's a hoax or a marketing ploy?

@DelMonte"You really believe it's a leak? Who's the brainwashed sheep here? (Seriously, I just think you are misinformed.)"----Your personal attacks against me don't proving anything other then that you have no evidence. Where is your link proving this conspiracy theory (leaks by Microsoft)? Utilizing a emotional argument to drum up support is similar to what Stephen Colbert does "Going with my Gut even if there’s no proof"----"Funny enough, the day they officially "admitted" having an iPod competitor in the works, they already had the name and the viral-marketing website that goes with it. This is a proof that these leaks were planned." ----How the Hell is that proof of leaks. Wowzers a product that is coming out before the end of the year actually has a name. Wowzers a product coming out before the end of the year actually has a marketing website.----Delmonte Look at me "Duur DUUR DUURRRRR”

"Why don't they take a leaf out of Apple's book, and leak nothing until the product is ready to ship?"Because that way people would get the impression they had nothing coming out this year to look forward to.This way, there is the impression they do.
