engadget.com — That's right folks, the Zune HD is real, and it's coming this Fall. Microsoft officially announced the next iteration in their Zune line today, making the Zune HD less of a tripped out pipe dream, and more of a totally tubular reality.

There will be updated iPhones announced in just a few days, which will most likely be available well before "this fall". I'm sure that both the iPhones and the iPod Touches will get a memory boost with this revision. That said, I hope the ZuneHD works out well, it's always good to have more stuff out there.

I know right?! the screen is not High res, it's like if Apple put an HD output for the iPhone and then called it the iPhone HD, come on even APPLE wouldn't do that!

If this was an apple product it would be like $600.Hopefully it's around $300.

Still, this is bad design. Why can't they just use a row size which is a multiple on the screen height? What if the iPhone displayed 4,5 collumns of icons on its main screen?

Wow, those pro-zune comments are so not believable... looks like Microsoft is spamming digg. wtf.

Who wants to buy a Zune 120 gig?
