pcmag.com — While there are still lots of unanswered questions, the first in-depth look at the device is impressive. The multi-touch OLED screen works very much like the iPod touch's, and it plays back both HD video as well as HD radio broadcasts. To cap it all off, the device is incredibly thin.

You see, I'm in the same boat actually but inverse. I've spent hours getting every single song catagorized in the Zune software, and a month or two back I was interested in getting an iPhone. That broke the deal for me actually, though WMP -> iTunes is slightly easier than reverse. As for bloated, everything but winamp is a resource hungry POS by my book. If I can't play games while listening to music it's annoying as hell, and all three pieces of software chug 100mb of memory fairly easily.

because that's the most important part am i rite? They weren't trying to glamorize the thickness, just show it.

That wasn't my point. I mean it doesn't necessarily matter if the iPod App store has more apps because most of them suck.

If you'd used the word "copy" instead of "improve", I'd have dugg you up. Alas, I have to digg you down.

zune software on the 360, if they can tap that market to sell zunes this is going to be an amazing success, the device looks fabulous. I just wish they had a phone integrated into it already, come on project pink!

The Zune HD does look cool but coming from a Zune 80 its not to much of an upgrade. You are gonna have less than half the capacity than you have now. I have a Zune 30. I really want to get the Zune HD but only if and when they release a 64gb version. Please MS make a 64gb version. PLEASE!

@bootlegapparel: Wow thanks for introducing me to the Cowon S9. The only Cowon I had seen before was huge and had a s**tty UI. I do have to admit that the Zune HDs UI is better but the sound quality easily makes up for that. Plus the formats it will play. It can be connected as a mass storage device. The battery life is awesome. And most important the sound quality.

This is the clearest video of the Zune HD I have seen by far. If Microsoft really wanted to promote this product they would have had a better quality video to display such as someone's face. The video looked a little pixelated and small to me. How about showing that Zune HD video in full daylight. No? I thought so.

They only compared the Zune HD size to the iPhone 3G. That's probably the one with the video camera, microphone and speaker.
