No, it's not. HAWX destroys AC in terms of gameplay. Where AC shines is the game's story and the characters, if you buy into their crazy melodrama. Oh yeah, and AC gives you a virtual ego handjob every 2 seconds in the form of everyone praising/fearing your awesomeness.
