True, but I kinda get what he's saying about people wanting him to do the salute or calling him by his character names on the street. It's like when people talk to you about computers a lot when you're the 'computer guy'. It gets old and annoying - you already do that all day, when you're off the clock, you want to just be yourself.

Not sure why it's getting buried so much. Yeah, it's SORT of a spoiler, but since the spoiler was one of the first things announced about the movie, most people who would care should know it.Also, I think it looked cup-handed just because his character was so confused, he wasn't really focused on making a perfect salute. If you are confused and trying to wave to someone, you're likely to just raise your hand with limp fingers, not actually waving. Same principle.
