The more browser that are mainstream means the more that are standards complaint which forces Microsoft to be strandards ComplaintPlus theres more targets for hackers. Which will divide their efforts. IE Less hackers Hacking Each Browser. Simple Genetic Diversity.

I thought Flock was also a secret Yahoo broswer. It uses Yahoo as the default search engine and also integrates Yahoo's flickr service. Incidentally it's also based on FireFox.
