blog.wired.com— The votes are in. The most popular way to read RSS is in the browser using some sort of web service. Bloglines, NetVibes and Rojo were the most popular sites that people use to browse feeds.

i agree. i just started using vienna recently. i was giving newsfire a go, but couldn't justify buying it, even as great as it is. vienna does everything i want an rss reader to do and you can't really beat the $free price tag.
For me, the best way to read RSS is not having a separate client from the browser. If you live in the browser, stay in the browser to read them. And the essence of the RSS feed is not opening a dedicated page or a client, it is rather is stay informed while you browse. That's why I have developed mime as an extension in Firefox. It is a RSS ticker that keep me informed in real time. You can see live demo here <a class="user" href="http://inforss.mozdev.org/demo-5.html">http://inforss.mozdev.org/demo-5.html</a>
@modulo1: only digg.OK I'd be lying if I said that. But realistically: (only) 3.+Digg+Google Blogoscoped+TechCrunch...are there any others that I (or you) really need? or should be reading?? (no seriously, I'm genuinely interestd,&curious..)

<a class="user" href="http://www.litepost.com">http://www.litepost.com</a> is the best feedreader. It's called your new inbox.

The best RSS reader for Digg is absolutely DiggWatch, it has an animation with all the headlines. Macs only... <a class="user" href="http://www.diggwatch.co.nr">http://www.diggwatch.co.nr</a>

I like <a class="user" href="http://yourwebapps.com/WebApps/NewsApp/" rel="nofollow">http://yourwebapps.com/WebApps/NewsApp/</a> for my RSS feeds. It's easy to set up and formats my feeds nicely for the iPhone.
