Well...glad you found something that works, and I hope it doesn't turn on you. The Imuran is starting to lose ground for me, but I'll take it for as long as it works. The only other option the doctor gave me was Remicade, and I'm pretty sure my feelings about that are obvious.
Ugh, it sucks to be born with these issues. I was born with Nager's Syndrome like four fingers (had five but one was tiny and useless -- removed from a mid 80s surgery), no thumbs!, mostly deaf, can't talk clear, breathing problem (had to get a tracheostomy), twisted elbows, small jaw, big upper gum (can't close my lips), can't open mouth wide, etc.
i just wanted to point out that he ended his story with "via con dios". it's vaya, the spanish subjunctive form of ir (to go), NOT via. sorry, that bugged me, especially considering no one else mentioned it
God gave him a horn for a reason, we'll probably never know why because we're not omniscient. Maybe one day he'll have to save a baby from a rabid billy-goat.
haha. you can prevent oms?considering that it strikes children most often at the age of 18 months, who've eaten little more than breast milk and green beans, i highly doubt it.and if breast milk and green beans are that full of toxins, oms wouldn't be nearly as rare and research to prevent it would probably be a damn sight better funded.
