huffingtonpost.com — "Any assumption that the military vote is overwhelmingly in favor of the Republican Party -- based on demographics alone -- is suspect," said retired Navy Capt. Don Inbody. Enlisted personnel mirror the general population, which could result in a 2:1 advantage for Obama in military communities if his campaign isn't "tone deaf" to the potential.

I think the "Many of these trees were my friends" scene fits better here, along with the march BGM. Or the Rohirrim on the Pelennor.God, I'm a geek.

I say "who cares" because we all know this election is bought and paid for. McCain will win the same way Bush won in 2000 and 2004. Make the polls look like they're incredibly close (even though Obama is WAYYYYY in the lead), then, like in 2004, have some video of Osama bin Laden show up the day before election day to scare all the people who were starting to think that "maybe Obama isn't a terrorist after all..." but then remember that he has a funny name and skin that isn't white! Then, somehow, millions of voters' choices will not get counted (the Republicans use a color-coded system for this one, not white=no vote). And even if you do vote Democrat, somehow the machine will magically change your vote to McCain! And when members of the House bring it up, the Senate will tell their little brothers and sisters to pipe down, there's lobbyists to coddle and pork barrel spending to be done!Welcome to America.

Only if you go back 2 decades, which the whine-lobby REALLY wanted to do. Ron Paul TOLD YOU SO about this economic clusterf**k, so get used to hearing it, because non-media people like me plan on saying it for some time to come.

Air Force (19 years) my bro and I (Army 13 years) will both be voting for Obama it seems to us that he is not that quick to send us back into a unjust war...Unlike cranky McGrandpa, could you imagine Pailin trying to make a major decision like that ....let me tell you that things haven't really changed since "W" claimed "Mission Accomplished"
