There's a possibility that this latest military campaign might work, but given that Hezbollah was born with the 1982 campaign, I seriously doubt it. And I'm pretty sure a buffer zone will work because that's what Israel had until it pulled out of Lebanon in 2000.
I was modded down for actually posting "word for word" the questioning of the biased interviewer in video # 2..."But they're crude rockets aren't they? And, afterall their impact has been minimal compared to the impact of Israeli strikes on Lebanon. Explain something to us, why would you not try to be shooting these Katusha missiles, or rockets we should say, they're not missiles at all, they're rockets, why would Israel not be trying to shoot them out of the sky? They have the capability to do that."
Atrocities can be used by groups or people with far inferior weaponry in their propaganda campaign. Hizb'allah clearly cannot win a shooting war with the IDF. They have to win WHERE they can win. Hizb'allah can win the media war as it appears in print in television thanks to a infected media addicted to here and now rather than sufficient and truthful.Hizb'allah has stage managed the "atrocities". They've already been caught repeatedly in this conflict alone, but it is Israeli critics such as Hamas or the Palestinians that have really lowered the bar for trying to assess Israel's alleged war crimes. Because Hamas has perfected the staged news(watch the documentary "Pallywood"), it is very difficult to take so called Israeli atrocities seriously.Jenin, Mohammed Daof, Qana: The Israelis have been tarred and feathered before for things they have not done. Don't be surprised if people are skeptical about news reports coming out of areas of Lebanon controlled by death worshippers.
I watched the videos and I know what it's like to have words twisted around to make victims look like bullies. This flipped my entire view of journalism upside down. Fox news, an incrediably biased news channel which was partly responsible for the unfortunate loss of Al Gore's presidential vote, REPORTs the news live from the battlegrounds, and seems pretty unbiased when I watch (they say stupid things, but the guy in Isreal responds with logical responses). But here, the BBC and CNN UK seem to be saying stuff that you would see on Jon Stewart posted next to another clip prooving that the "reports" and dumbasses. So yes, I would see this on American TV. News in Belgium is better, as far as I know (been there many times, born there). Journalists here "ask questions" but saying "you're a dick?" is also a question, although a very bad one.

This is good British reporting/interviewing, but still not as unbiased and professional as BBC World.

Hizbollah has signed up to a seven-point plan for a ceasefire agreed with the Arab League, Lebanon and six other regional states. It's hardly likely to break a ceasefire and lose all the saupport ithas built up in recent weeks. The thing about all these Israeli atrocities is that they can't ALL be accidents or the result of over-zealous young soldiers. The atrocities are a symptom of a state based on racism.Watch this.https://illumination.wordpress.com/2006/08/02/arundhati-roy-an-insightful-speech-on-israelipalestine/

@Judahgabriel.Dude, I'd hate to break it to you but I am not Palestinian, nor am I Arabic and nor am I a Muslim. You shouldn't assume these things. I have many Jewish friends that I can have rational discussions with.In regards to your statement that I am making things up you should watch the following documentry by a non-profit media watchdog in the US. It highlights these issues that are routinely omitted in the US media.http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-7828123714384920696&q=peace%2C+propoganda
