I didn't mean it like that, it was produced in Canada in Calgary and typically Americans do not watch a lot of Canadian TV. I was unaware Americans saw it as well, i figured you had your own equivalent show.
I still have a Tamagotchi in a box somewhere. I got it because the group I was with in a theme park left me there... my friend didn't tell anyone that I was missing.

It had popularity in the 90's. I'm pretty sure in the first season, Urkel wasn't even a big character. It was the 90's that showed the rise of Urkel.
