@TrwalsTo own a gun, you need a permit. If the kid didn't have a permit, he should go to jail for owning a gun, since if he didn't get a permit it's for obvious reasons. He didn't qualify for one, or didn't get accepted.Either way, a man with a gun and no permit obviously doesn't want the gun for legit reasons.
I own a .44 magnum revolver, .32 revolver, 12 gauge pump shotgun, an AR-15, and a VEPR AK-47. I am not a criminal, I use the utmost safety when firing my guns. I enjoy shooting my guns and would be very angry if someone came into my house telling me I can't have them because they think it isn't safe. Owning these guns doesn't make me any less 'civilized' than someone who owns a knife or a slingshot. Just because you can kill someone with something doesn't mean it should be taken from you.
