It doesn't wreck anything. Lots of people create videos specifically to post on youtube to generate hits to their site so they can make some advertisement dollars. Nobody considers that such a terrible thing. A company tries to generate buzz for their product and it becomes shady? Congrats diggers on another retarded double standard.Besides, like a number of people have said... if the community (the poor defenseless community) doesn't like the commercial or tactics, they'd bury it. But they're not... so it sounds like most people just don't give a damn... or even better enjoy the commercials.Lame.
Viral marketing is when consumers spread the content. This is an ad agency getting paid to spread the word, and apparently getting a little over zealous.
"Have they removed the traditional frosty?" Traditional = Chocolate. I work at a Wendy's, Ours never got the new flavor of the summer, Vanilla."i just dont get wendys, square burgers?" They're actually easier to cook on the grill. 4-corner press!
The only problem here is that Wendy's (or their agency) did it so badly. If you do it well, the YouTube audience likes what you've done. If you get caught doing it well, it's not done well.Wendy's were stupid and naive. Get ready for more of that.

"If YouTube doesn’t police commercial video spam, users will be alienated."Why? Please substantiate this claim.
