sports.espn.go.com— Lamar Thomas' statements during the Miami/FIU fight on Saturday got him fired from his commentating job. The video was all over YouTube and you have to believe it's popularity lead to his firing.

Sorry if this is a dupe comment, just didn't have a chance to read them all. Isn't it funny that they are going to edit out his comments, but are going to make damn well sure they leave the fight in the re-broadcast. They don't condone the fighting or the comments, but the one that would kill the number of people who watch the replay would plummet if they cut the fight out. Hypocrisy.
I'm not really a football fan but I watched the clip to see what all the hoopla was about. Nobody thought it was funny what he was saying? He wasn't pushing the players to fight. They couldn't hear him. He was just talking smack riding on the adrenaline wave. Even the other commentator was laughing and kind of pushed the guy to make another remark. Listen to it again with an open mind. The guy was just being funny. Maybe since I'm not really a football fan, I see it differently. Maybe if it was Dennis Miller, other people would see the comedy as well.

He sounded like a complete moron, not a professional sporting commentator.http://footballbettingtips.net/
