newscloud.com — I received a couple of emails from YouTube this afternoon (see below) notifying me that a third party (probably attorneys for Comedy Central) had made a DMCA request to take down Colbert Report and Daily Show clips. If you visit YouTube, all Daily Show, Colbert Report and South Park clips are now gone.

Unfortunately there isnt a cheque to cash. Google gave the guys at Youtube 1.5B worth of STOCKS. So hopefully the youtube guys cash out because this whole deal is going to make things pretty f**king retarded. If there is money to be made the fan base suddenly stops mattering. Its not what you and I want it what the corporations want. Its always been like that.
