nytimes.com— YouTube has changed its layout for some videos posted by CBS, placing user comments on a separate page instead of directly beneath each video.

When 70% of the comments are stupid, and useless, I don't blame them. Most of the time I don't even read the comments because for every useful piece of info you get 2 stupid flame wars, 17 "omg!" or "lawl" and 25 "f**k's". The internet is loaded with stupid, useless comments. If you want them, go look somewhere else.
They can still comment, it will just be on another page...oh no...an extra click! Many people have said they liked this feature on Google video anyways.
yeah, but the user community is more important. without the users there would be no corporate sponsors in the first place.by the way, nearly everything posted on youtube (or anywhere) is automatically copyrighted. (yes, even your video blogs). it's the permission that's lacking for tv shows and such.

Yeah. What right do we, the people, have to openly berate the fine programming of a huge network? They have to keep us ruffians at bay!

It's probably not going to make many people stop using YouTube.
