I've wobbled my PC around while discs were in there. As with many other disc based consoles. Didn't do s**t. There's no excuse for this.

It took me 2 console failures to get rid of all my games: 1st RROD, and 2nd disc read error. Now I just keep my xbox around to stream media and play downloadable games.

This seems like a great design feature to me.I'm still on my second xbox, and it was a free replacement. Love netflix more than games honestly these days, and looking forward to seeing espn on live. But I wouldn't mind having a ps3 either really.

Why didn't microsoft go with a disc slot (actual terminology anyone?) rather than the disc tray? I was watching an unboxing and as a whole I think the redesign is okay but when they hit the eject button and that rickety thing came out so slow and noisy, I was totally put off by that.
