orbitcast.com — XM subscribers have been reportedly canceling their subscriptions ever since the announcement that Opie & Anthony were suspended mid-day yesterday. The hold times for customer service yesterday escalated from a 30 minute wait, to an 1.5 hour wait, according to those who were on hold to cancel.

I've been with XM from the start but I canceled my two radios yesterday and got right onto Sirius with a slick new SL100. I hope they don't turn into nutless s**ts too. What gets me about this whole thing is that this was purely a protest conducted by members of the media, people like Paula Zahn and the twerps on Air America. It's not like people on the street were even aware of the offending comments, let alone complaining about it.I guess when a glassy-eyed Paula Zahn bares her giant white teeth, radio producers had better take heed. Free speech was fun while it lasted!

Here is an idea ....Smash your radio and mail it to someone near corporate HQ. Fill a dump truck with the radios and dump it on the headquarters front steps. I was an XM sub many years ago but switched to Sirius and never looked back. I love the Jay Thomas Show on 102 .......

because it's bad for everybody. it is a scam that is screwing up terrestrial radio and giving a select few media organizations a wide range of frequencies they got for unfair prices. among a bunch of other s**t.
