Agreed. Wikipedia is wonderful, but sometimes too dense. Some articles require a deep understanding of their subject before they mean anything at all, especially those to do with some math or physics concepts. It's Catch 22. More plainspoken introductions would be a good thing.
What's the point in instantly burying something based on its origin? They did that 80 years ago and decided that it was stupid. Thus buried for "Older than the internetz".
