guru3d.com — King of pre-overclocked products has to be XFX, their speed-bin of releasing OCed products is exceedingly fast. I do not think that there is an XFX product out there that is not available as a triple X edition or other series name slapped on top of it. Today will be no different, we received XFXes top of the shelf product.

The 3870X2 still holds up good against it.

I bought my gx2 and noticed high temps, 65 c idle 80 c load. So I looked into watercooling, now I idle 35 c load 45 c. Thats with a core of 760 and memory at 1150. Now you don't have the issues with heat build up in your case. Nice review, with this card you must watercool, not to mention the noise you save. Blocks can be found for 150 dollars.

i will ask the same question as i did over at the sli club at nvidia is it really worth the money anymore to buy a nice video card [ only one part of a system ] when all the good games are going towards consoles and not p.c. aka: battlefield bad company a game that started on p.c. if this keeps happening there will be no point in buying that shiny new card electronic arts has made a stupid decision
