Wow I had no idea! My 360 has been absolutely perfect since day 1 of it's release. Sorry to all you guys with all the 360 problems!On a side note though, I had to send in my PS2 to get fixed 3 times for $100 each time back in the day. I got my original Xbox repaired completely free a few years ago though.

Just by it at Costco, when it craps out, then get a new one with no hassle that same day. Just happened to me. They can even print your reciept from your membership card.

Wow, I'm surprised the failure rate is this high. My house has 2 of them, my Dad has one at my parents house, and 6 or 7 of my friends have them. So far not one of them has broken. I'm only a weekend gamer due to work and other obligations, but I have unleashed a 12 hour marathon or 2 on it with no problems. I also make use of the HD-DVD player every so often without issue.

As I said somewhere else in this post. The NES and Xbox 360 are many many many leagues away from each other in terms of design and power. I don't really need to say more. Comparing the Xbox 360 to an NES is, sorry to say, just plain stupid.
