No, actually that's not true. The 65 nm haven't been released yet, and the newer HDMI-enabled premium/pro consoles are actually just using the "Zephyr" board that has been in the Elite since its launch in April. However, they have made a lot of significant improvements to the recently manufactured consoles that go a long way to alleviating the overheating problem caused by the GPU (added a heat sink above the GPU that's actually capable of removing all the hot air that the GPU generates). But, no, you are incorrect in that HDMI-enabled = 65 nm processor. The most recent rumors concerning this topic is that these 65 nm CPU consoles probably won't be out until Christmas or early next year. Even still, the 65 nm CPU really won't do too much to help the failure rates since it is the GPU that creates the problems, not the CPU; and since the GPU will still be 90 nm, it'll still generate just as much heat. Thankfully, the new upgrades to the innards of the recently manufactured consoles (post-May of this year) go a very long way to preventing the warping of the motherboards (leading to RROD). I got an Elite made in late June and it runs very smoothly (I leave it on for hours, sometimes up to 12, at a time). Take from that what you will.
