There must be some sort of updated , Zen koan in there. "What is the sound of one-blog clapping ?"Oh, and I only read mine, if I am afraid that I drunk-posted there the night before.
That is a stupid statement. So if the CEO of a company doesn't use the product that the company produces it translates into that no one else would? How about the term target audience? Just because you don't fit into the target audience of the product that you create it doesn't mean that no one else does. What if you design a website for someone else, that you would never use because of the content. Does that mean that the website in generel won't be used by anyone?
I once wrote a blog about my bowel movements. Every day I would write about the texture, consistency, etc. It was meant to be my commentary on the value of the "blogosphere". Then it started to get a lot of hits and I had to close the sucker down.
to quote animal farm some animals are more equal then others, my blog is more like my personal journal, things that i find neat and how i am feeling at the moment. I don't update it regularly and i don't expect people to read it. It is public so if my friends or family can see it and the rest of the world can as well, but they are not my intended audience. This article would be useful for a commercial blogger but I would expect them to have taken some journalism courses (or at least study Journalism and literature ) and know what they are doing if they want to be 'more equal'.

I wouldn't read my own blog, but I enjoy listening to my own podcast. I guess I'm doing something right.
