In case you're not joking, that right there is a weird fluke. I still have 5 QFs from 1998/99/2000 (20gb drives) that I use to stream media from. They've far outlived two Chinese Maxtors and one Chinese WD (which burned after 4 months). If you inspect the actual drives themselves, they're made out of higher quality materials.
Actually, the first time I posted a link I did the same thing. The only reason I noticed it was because whenever I post a link to anywhere I like to test it to make sure it does what I wanted.It is entirely possible that he had no idea that it would happen, and may still not know.
