Dugg down for proactively trying to get dugg down. If you have a point, make it. Insulting the readers discredits any argument you were trying to make.
It's word association that causes all of the fear. Well maintained nuclear plants are an excellent, safe source of energy. People hear "Nuclear" and they think "bomb" - they think "radiation" - they think "holy god, my skin will melt off". I live less than 5 miles from a nuclear plant in Tennessee. Almost EVERYONE here has family that works there. They keep ridiculously tight security measures on them and have a ton of emergency shut down procedures that can be executed at the drop of a hat. You could run a plane into the reinforced walls surrounding the reactors and not leave a scratch. They do NOT bulls**t around with security measures over there, or at any of the plants. You'd better believe that they are government regulated and run and ALWAYS kept in tip-top shape - and that is everything from the facilities to the water they put back into the environment.

First of all, WRONG. Second of all, you also need to take into account the mining of coal.

@innocentsinner, most Japanese people are actually talking Great Danes in disguise. You'd never know. They're really good with costumes.

Too bad your statement is incorrect. Turns out containers of radioactive waste were tipped over and plit open during the quake and that officials from the plant lied about the amount of radiation released. The leak lasted for three days!<a class="user" href="http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,22100293-2703,00.html">http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,22100293-2703,00.html</a><a class="user" href="http://www.forbes.com/business/feeds/afx/2007/07/19/afx3930010.html">http://www.forbes.com/business/feeds/afx/2007/07/19/afx3930010.html</a>
