joystiq.com — When a company has one of the most successful MMORPGs games of all time, the last thing anyone there wants to do is throw a wrench into what the customer's rigs can handle. To that end, the Blizzard team explained in a few interviews last week that World of Warcraft's graphical updates will happen over time with expansions.

Whats also sad is the premium client runs better than WoW (max settings max resolution). My sister and I have identical graphic's cards (8800gtx) and CPU's. She gets 60-80fps on WoW I get 200fps in Eve, crazy.

Well, it was built back in 1923.Even today, I'm pretty sure that bridges made of metal beams still need to be painted to prevent rust. Other metals that are not affected by rust don't have the structural properties suitable for bridge building.

I totally agree with you Mistwaver, and yeah Mitchivh believe it or not there have been many MMO's before warcraft and with star trek online, dc online and a new starwars and also champions online does will wow really matter anymore I seriously never saw the attraction of the game I played it once for one hour and I was board as hell. Though those games may or may not have the numbers on their games (that will be determined) they will still be great games.

Maybe one day the graphics will get real enough so that any of you who play WOW can see what a real woman looks like.

Thats what I'm saying. I'm all for improving the MAX settings to keep up with the times, as long as the minimum settings don't get pushed too far ahead also.
