Yea but at least they can say their bosses own their own jet liner, and they help to pay for the gas. Something to be proud .

In the technology job market, most (if not all) of the jobs that are well suited for "working at home" are also ideally suited for being outsourced to India, China, or where-ever, and that's usually what happens.Issues with communication and quality control make this a "you get what you pay for" reality that in many (if not most) cases ends up HURTING the company in the long run. The manager who made the outsourcing decision still gets his or her great-big-assed bonus for increasing apparent profits in the short term.Everybody knows if you climb too far out on a limb, it will break and you will fall.Similar thing, this outsourcing and importing products instead of producing them ourselves.

More than likely, I would get more work done at home than I would here at work. I wouldn't have to go to meetings (waste of time), I wouldn't have to be around to answer questions from the super-inept in my work-group, I wouldn't waste about an hour of commute time...the list could go on.
