wordpress.com — The team behind Automattic and WordPress.com have opened up their stats system to the world with an API and plugin for WordPress.org that gives WP bloggers the same stats tracking as WP.com users. Because it's all remote it doesn't cause any additional load on your host, yet it's still smart about things like not counting your own hits.

GoStats is an alternative too, here's the plug-in link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gostats-for-wordpress/(GS doesn't need to be paired like GA and SC; it's both full featured, and real-time)

I think I'll give this a try. There really are some sad people around here. Why can't they be 'critical' without being downright rude?

i would not recommend this plugin. it combines the dashboard or your wordpress.org and your wordpress.com sites. tho that seems handy, it isnt. the combinations eliminates functionality of the admin panels.
